शिवसेनेची सामाजिक न्याय विभागाकडे मागणी

मुंबई, दि. १४ (प्रतिनिधी) – दादरच्या इंदू मिलमध्ये होणारे भारतरत्न डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांचे स्मारक रखडले असतानाच त्यांच्या दिल्लीत बनवलेल्या जात असलेल्या भव्य पुतळ्यात काही गंभीर तुटी आढळल्या आहेत. सरकारने महामानवाच्या स्मारकाकडे गांभीर्याने पाहावे आणि असलेल्या तुटी लवकरात लवकर दूर कराव्यात, अशी मागणी शिवसेना पदाधिकाऱ्यांनी सामाजिक न्याय विभागाकडे केली आहे.

शिवसेना नेते-खासदार अनिल देसाई यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली आणि सन्मान्याखाली स्मृतीस्थळ पदाधिकाऱ्यांच्या शिष्टमंडळाने आज मंत्रालयातील सामाजिक न्याय विभागाचे प्रधान सचिव विजय वाघमारे यांची आज भेट घेऊन पुतळ्यातील तुटी दूर करण्याबाबत निवेदन दिले. स्मारकाची रखडपूर्ती थांबवून लवकरात लवकर स्मारक पूर्ण करावे, या मागणीसाठी एमएमआरडीए आयुक्त संजय मुखर्जी यांची शिवसेनेच्या शिष्टमंडळाने नुकतीच भेट घेतली होती. या शिष्टमंडळाला मुखर्जी यांनी बाबासाहेबांचा दिल्लीत उभारण्यात येत असलेल्या पुतळ्याचे काही फोटो दाखवले. या फोटोत पुतळ्याची उंची, वेशभूषा तसेच इतर अनेक तुटी आढळल्या. याबाबत आज शिवसेना पक्ष संपर्क vilas रूपवते यांच्या उपस्थित पदाधिकाऱ्यांनी विजय वाघमारे यांना या तुटी लक्षात आणून दिल्या. तुटी आढळल्यावर त्या लवकरात लवकर निराकरण केले जाईल, असा आश्वास वाघमारे यांनी दिले. यावेळी कामगार नेते रमेश जाधव, डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांचे पणतू अध्यक्ष आंबेडकर, प्रतीक कांबळे, राजेश खाडे, खी गुरव, मीलिंद सर्वे, भीम आर्मी मुंबई अध्यक्ष अविनाश गुरव, सागर सांगारे, सुदर्शन सपळवळ, बालासाहेब पवार यांच्यासह आंबेडकर चळवळीतील प्रतिष्ठितही उपस्थित होते.

Mumbai, Aug. 14 (Reporter) – While the construction of the Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's memorial at Indu Mills in Dadar is still pending, some serious flaws have been found in the grand statue of him being built in Delhi. The government should take this issue seriously and promptly address the flaws, demanded Shiv Sena officials to the Social Justice Department.

Under the guidance of Shiv Sena leader and MP Anil Desai and in the presence of esteemed officials, a delegation of memorial officers met with Vijay Waghmare, Principal Secretary of the Social Justice Department, today and submitted a petition to rectify the flaws in the statue. They also urged the government to expedite the completion of the memorial, which has been delayed for a long time. The Shiv Sena delegation had recently met MMRDA Commissioner Sanjay Mukherjee regarding the delay.

During this meeting, Mukherjee showed the delegation some photographs of the statue being erected in Delhi. The photos revealed several flaws in the statue's height, attire, and other aspects. Today, the delegation, along with Shiv Sena liaison officer Vilas Roupvate, brought these issues to the attention of Vijay Waghmare. Waghmare assured them that the flaws would be addressed as soon as possible. Present at the meeting were labor leader Ramesh Jadhav, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's grandson and President Ambedkar, Pratik Kamble, Rajesh Khade, Khi Gurav, Milind Sarve, Avinash Gurav (President of Bhim Army Mumbai), Sagar Sangare, Sudarshan Sapalval, and Balasaheb Pawar, among other prominent members of the Ambedkar movement.
